The colt travelled powerfully through the early stages under Richard Kingscote before quickening clear with ease to win impressively by 1 1/2 lengths.
After the race trainer Beckett said ” He is very professional and did one nice piece of work earlier this week. We thought the ground would suit him, he just moves like a bit of juice suits him. We’ve got that out of the way and we’ll see where we go from here. He’s a lovely straightforward horse”.
