Bush House (Canford Cliffs) wins the Betway Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton for Hugo Palmer and The Gredley’s.
A £150,000 purchase from the 2015 Goffs UK yearling sale, Bush House did not run at two, but made up for lost time by scoring here on his second career start. After finishing a close second on his debut over course and distance in January, Bush House showed all the benefit of that experience under Josephine Gordon, rallying well to get back on top in the last-half-furlong, after being headed on the turn into the straight. A horse with plenty of scope, he should be the type to improve over longer trips this coming turf campaign.
