Irish Point (Joshua Tree) wins for Henry De Bromhead and owners Robcour on his first start for new connections.
After having shown a deal of promise for prior connections the gelding was purchased privately on behalf of Robcour and looks to have more than enough ability to justify his acquisition.
He travelled well and jumped like a buck for the majority of the race before powering clear after the last to to win easily by 5 lengths at the line.
After the race Henry de Bromhead’s assistant Lisa O’Neil said “He had heavy-ground form in France. He’s a really nice horse and did it very well. There’s plenty to improve on, mentally and physically”.
He looks one to be positive about and will hopefully give connections plenty of fun over the coming months.
