Trust The Stars (Sea The Stars) wins very nicely on debut at Newmarket for Ralph Beckett and owners Valmont.
Starting out on Newmarket’s undulating Rowley Mile is always a stern examination of any juvenile filly, so for Trust The Stars to win in the style that she did separates her as a well above average two-year-old. Ridden by Hector Crouch here, the rangy and athletic daughter of Sea The Stars looked green early on but she put everything together very quickly when her jockey asked her to go and win her race. She surged to the lead down the outside of a previous winner in Chelsea Green and won with a touch of nonchalance in the end beating a typically competitive field.
She looks a highly talented filly and will surely have stakes aspirations in the not to distant future.
Trust The Stars was purchased at the 2021 Arqana October Yearling Sales.
