Prince Alex (Excelebration) wins at Windsor for Amo Racing and Ralph Beckett.
Having his first start in handicap company here, Prince Alex won in pleasing fashion under a good ride from Rob Hornby. Having improved steadily in maidens, the three year old gelding showed a good attitude here, travelling well and picking up in good style when asked to do so.
He gradually went up through the gears over this longer trip and showed a real liking for the additional test of stamina. Although the winning margin was just a neck, this was a fairly comfortable success and there should be more to come from this progressive young horse.
The result completed an across the card doubleĀ for owners Amo Racing after their two year old colt Devilwala (Kodiac) scored at Haydock earlier in the day.
