Maxi Boy (Oasis Dream) wins the British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes at Yarmouth on debut for Michael Bell and owners Amo Racing Limited, picking up the £25,000 Tattersalls Book One Bonus in the process.
After running green through the early part of the race, Maxi Boy quickened up smartly to win under Ryan Moore and was value for far more than the official neck result.
This was a taking performance first time out and the colt will now be aimed at the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. After the race assistant trainer Nick Bell said ”He’s the best two-year-old we have, he will go to Royal Ascot now and should have a live chance in the Coventry, he has a great attitude and it was nice to see him win like that”.
