Stone Circle (No Nay Never) wins at Doncaster for Michael Bell and owners The Fitzrovians, becoming our fifth individual two-year-old winner of the season.
Having run with promise on his first two outings at Windsor and Chepstow, Stone Circle put it all together here winning cosily under the red hot Danny Tudhope. He travelled nicely through the race before being asked to quicken off the slow pace at the two furlong pole. He showed a nice burst of acceleration and ran out the winner by 1/2 a length in the end.
Stone Circle was purchased for €50,000 at last year’s Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale. This year’s renewal runs between the 24th and 26th of September and EBS will be in attendance once again trying to unearth more winners for our clients.
